Hey, Slip happens! Don’t let it ruin your entire diet. You need to immediately get back on track and don’t beat yourself up over it. One (or more) slips don’t mean you should throw out the rest of the day, week or the entire program. Take some time to think about what caused you to fall off track and take steps to avoid the same trigger in the future. Often times, we’re just bored or tired, don’t let emotional eating cause you to fail in your weight loss efforts.
NEVER, EVER wait until tomorrow to take action. The time for action is right NOW. This minute. This moment. You are probably facing a make it or break it moment in your dieting efforts. Give in and you may be throwing in the towel and abandoning your weight loss goals for good. Next thing you know, you’ll be watching the scale creep back up and regaining everything you’ve worked so hard to lose … and possibly more!
When you’re ready to grab a bite to eat, or indulge in that sugary treat, take a moment to analyze WHY you’re eating. Are you really hungry? If you’re in an afternoon slump, grab an apple or a juice spritzer and a small piece of cheese. This should give you the energy boost you need to make it through until dinner.
